On Mother’s day, Sara and I love being treated to a delicious brunch in a new hip spot or to an exploratory “bicycle cupcakes ride” in Brooklyn. But this year, we felt that we could also exert our right to play for a few hours, away from the family! What about treating moms and non-moms alike to an unreal late afternoon of Mad Men influenced glamour, role-play, martinis and the photo op of a lifetime?
Starting at 5pm on Sunday, May 8th, Mice at Play will team up with Belathée Photography at The Way Station in Brooklyn to reconnect you with your youthful pastime of dress-up.
This Mice at Play Playdate will have you dare to work the camera while putting on a playful late 50s persona. You will be enjoying vintage cocktails and canapés while dancing to Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley as Annabel and Dorothée take portraits.
